This graph shows the supply of inventory from the last 4 years in September.

Basically this means that if no other houses were listed from this Day forward - it would take 5.4 months to exhaust the supply of inventory that is currently out there.

Team Monticello always likes to pay attention to this monthly statistic because it shows an interesting trend. Four years ago - there was a lot of inventory out there which made it more of a buyer's market. ToDay, there is a decrease, which means it is a seller's market. Ideally, we like to see a balanced market - which is what it was in 2017 when there was 6 months supply of inventory.
