Home sales are up by 1%.
Closed sales are down. Alex explained that he thinks that is from a lack of inventory.
The open houses that we have had recently have had an above average turnout with 10-14 parties at each one.
Based on the interest in the open houses. we think that it will be a busy first quarter in 2019.
Alex went to a conference where Hugh Johnson Advisors talked about their prediction for 2019 and it may be possible that interest rates can rise another 1/2 to 3/4 of a point.
